Hong soi looks at the connection between language and gestures in various ways.
«If it is good» selects world-renowned presidents, celebrities, and gatherings as alleles and draws the direction of movement of the hands in their speech videos. Each drawing shows the language of the gesture and the corresponding time and questions the current results and problems.
Time is a clear proof of the beginning and the result of something. It excludes numerous speculations and emotions of each individual and reveals only the results of choices and judgments. A clock drawn strangely represents the time of things that have emerged as the subject of new modernity every time and time.
Sometimes for political purposes, promises or loose ends of language declared by individual self-interest are favorable directions for reading the other person's facial expressions and winning hearts. Those who use speeches, words, gestures, and gestures used as materials for the work insist, but ask. Individuals judge, accept, or oppose.
The title of the exhibition «If it is good» is everyone's position, clear and simple truth.
The exhibition shows scenes and times of things we know and don't know in the language of gestures, doubts, and questions.

«If it is good»은 세계적으로 기억되는 대통령, 유명인, 모임 등을 알레고리로 선별하여 그들의 연설 영상 속 손의 움직임 방향을 드로잉 한다. 각각의 드로잉은 몸짓의 언어와 해당 시간을 보여주며 현재의 결과와 문제들을 질문한다.
시간은 어떤 일의 시작과 결과를 볼 수 있는 명확한 증거다. 각 개인의 수많은 추측과 감정을 배제하고 선택과 판단의 결과만을 드러낸다. 어딘가 이상하게 그려진 시계는 시대와 시간마다 새로운 현대성의 주체로 떠오르고 이뤄진 일들의 시간을 표방한다.
때로 정치적 목적으로, 개인의 사심으로 선언하는 약속이나 언어의 느슨한 목적은 상대의 표정을 읽고 마음을 얻는 유리한 방향이다. 작품의 재료로 사용된 연설과 말, 몸짓과 손짓은 주장하지만 부탁한다. 개인은 판단하고 받아들이거나 반대한다.
전시 제목인 «If it is good»은 모두의 입장, 명료하고 간단한 진실이다.
전시는 우리가 아는 일, 모르는 일들의 장면과 시간을 제스처의 언어로 보여 주고 의심하며 질문한다.
